ProspectDB offers an unlimited license with every database.
Most companies only rent you the data for one time use, we allow you to use
any database you purchase from us as many times as you want, however you
want, for as long as you want. With ProspectDB you never have to rent the
same list twice for two different campaigns, even if they are years apart.
Use a database for an email campaign tomorrow, then a direct mail campaign
next week, then a telecontact campaign next month, then another email
campaign a year from now, ProspectDB places no limits on how you can use the
data.

What kind of guarantee do you offer regarding the quality of the data?
Every record is guaranteed. If you find any incorrect data,
send us back the record within 60 days of the purchase date with a note as
to the data that are incorrect (bad phone number, email bounced, bad physical
address, etc.), and we will correct or replace the record. We can stand
behind the quality of our data firmly because we do much to clean and
verify the data before we send it out to you.

What fields are included in ProspectDB databases/lists?
Typically you can only rent either a list containing phone
numbers and/or physical/mailing addresses, or a list of email addresses
(which you typically never see). With ProspectDB you receive (and
have unlimited license for) all contact information. Below is a table that

What is the source of the data?
Our data has been compiled through years of direct marketing campaigns
(email campaigns, telecontact campaigns, and direct mail campaigns) run by
ProspectDB and our partners, which is then supplemented by further data
appendage and collection from web based resources. We do not broker lists,
instead, we have compiled and cleaned this data ourselves and ProspectDB can be
considered an original and unique source of information.

How will the data be sent to me?
We usually email our clients their database after
receiving payment. This is usually done in the form of an Excel or CSV
spreadsheet attached to an email, but can be delivered in just about any
format you request.

What is the geographic distribution of the contacts in most of ProspectDB's databases?
Our databases cover all 50 states and can include records in
Canada, Europe and from any country around the world if you would like.
Most of our feature databases are 98% US contacts and 2% Canadian contacts.

What is the difference between a "feature" database and a custom database?
A custom database is a database that is built based on
specification that you provide (i.e. company size, SIC code or vertical
market, title type, etc.). Once you provide us with these criteria we
compile as many companies and contacts as we can that meet your criteria and
then clean and verify the information in each record. The end result that
is delivered to you is what we call a custom database. Custom databases are
generally a bit more expensive than "feature" databases, which are
"off-the-shelf" already recently cleaned and verified databases of a set
number of contacts, such as the 30,000 IT decision makers database. A
custom database is typically between $.75 and $1.25 per record, while a
feature database is typically a fraction of that price per record. Also,
feature databases can usually be delivered within 24 hours, while custom
databases may take upwards up 3-4 weeks to process.

We leave the opting-in process completely in the hands of
our clients and how they choose to use the data that we provide them.
Because we are not renting access to the list/database, but rather providing
you with non-exclusive ownership of it, we allow our clients to opt-in the
contacts through their own marketing programs. Email marketing is a
very effective and ethical means of marketing being used by most of the
largest companies in the country and can easily be done correctly and
legally if you follow certain guidelines.

Yes, we can certainly compile a custom database for you
based on a list of companies that you would like to target and the titles
types that you would like to go after within those companies, but naturally
this will significantly increase the price per record. The magnitude of the
price per record increase depend on the number of companies that you would
like to have extracted and the size of these companies. Smaller companies
increase the cost per record more than larger companies. To find out how

What do I need to do to purchase this database and receive it?
When you are ready to move forward we will simply send you
over a proposal, which you then sign and fax back to us at (818) 332-1277.
Then simply call us with your credit card information (877-591-3252) or have
a company check cut and sent via FedEx (or any comparable service that uses
tracking numbers) to the address listed in this document and on the
proposal. If you pay by credit card, the database will be sent via email instantly.
If you are paying by check, simply email the tracking
number for the package that you have sent the check in to your ProspectDB
contact, or to info@prospectdb.com, and you will be sent the database
instantly. If you need to have a PO number generated to have a check cut,
you will need to make specific arrangements with your ProspectDB contact
regarding the schedule of payment and delivery.
